Many coffee enthusiasts fail to properly brew their coffee, despite investing money in a quality grinder. The key to making great-tasting coffee is selecting the most optimal coffee grounds and then grinding them correctly.
When you grind an entire coffee bean yourself, it maximizes both flavor and freshness. Roasted coffee usually has oils that are volatile that produce much of the flavor you’ll taste when drinking it, but once the beans have been thoroughly ground, the oils will create a reaction with the oxygen to start evaporating. The longer the ground coffee has been exposed to air, it will lose additional flavor.
